This programm replaces the background picture of MSWindows by
another one after a defined interval.
There are screen savers and background pictores alot. But only
the inventors of the Aktive Desktop seem to find a single static
background picture boring.
Pizzamampf
came to me with this problem, and P's Background Changer is my short
time solution to it.
You can set the intended number if minutes after which a
picture is replaced in the input field "Minuten für Wechsel"
(=minutes for change). Activate a new value by clicking "setzen" (=set).
If you start the program by "Start/Run" or a link that you created, you
can append the minutes as a parameter. Just write the number behind the
program name.
The large input field in the middle of the dialog is ment to
take the names of the preferred pictures, one per line. If you do not
want to do it by hand then press the button "suchen" (=search). This
works the same way as in all programs having a menu containing
"File/Open".
The button "speichern" (=save) saves the list into a file.
This is placed in the same directory where the Program resides.
When using the program day by day, you should create a link in
the folder named "Startup".

- There is no installing procedure coming with the program.
- It is not possible to toggle between "center" and "tile".
- The program does not hide when being running. You have to
minimize it if you do not want to see it on the desktop.
- Open programs can flicker when the background picture is
replaced.
- It it not quite clear if the operating system is writing
into the registry when getting the command to replace a picture. This
could increase the size of the registry.
